I have a telephone for communication with people I choose to talk with. I DO NOT pay good money for telephone service to allow telemarketers a cheap way to enter my home. I am against ANY intrusion by businesses, charities, political compaigns or any other unsolicited organizations using my telephone for their purpose, whether I have done business with them in the past or not. Let them send First Class Mail instead of using the telephone. The problem gets even worse if these organizations call a Cell Phone or other type of service where the receipient has to PAY to receive the unwanted phone call. That is the same as STEALING from the consumer. If these organizations want to call me, let them provide and pay for a special telephone line into my home (however, I would be sure not to answer that phone in that case). Thank you.
