Comments:
Please do not allow this "loophole" in the Telemarketing Sales Rule to go into effect. Allowing companies that we have done prior business with to make unsolicited phone calls is a nuisance. It violates our privacy. There are many companies that the average American does business with, and this proposed amendment will give telemarketers too much freedom to call people who have signed up on the "do not call" list. This amendment ultimately defeats the purpose of the "do not call" list.
