The only thing more intrusive, annoying, and insulting than a "live" unsolicited telemarketing call is a pre-recorded one. It is bad enough that companies do not respect my privacy enough to forgo annoying me in the privacy of my home; it is worse when they relegate me to the status of a "machine" by annoying me with a machine. In my opinion, *no* unsolicited telemarketing calls should be allowed--ever.
