To Whom it May Concern, It is very distressing to learn that effectiveness of the do not call list is going to be watered down. We have been on the PA do not call for several years and have found it to be very effective in keeping unwanted calls from coming in to our home. We just registered for the federal list, since we have gotten some unsolicited calls recently. We are informed consumers who carefully research what we are looking for. We do not need the headache of being dunned by pre-recorded messages to encourage us to buy more. If we want more products and services or want to renew a relationship with a company it will be dependent on our need and/or financial resources, not on being driven to distraction by unwanted phone calls.
