|Subject:||Trade Regulation Rule on Telemarketing Sales|
|Title:||Notice of Proposed Rulemaking, Request for Comment|
|CFR Citation:||16 CFR Part 310|
Comments:My wife and I are opposed to any changes that would allow telemarketers to circumvent the DO NOT CALL LIST. There is already too much intrusion into our everyday life. Telemarketers do not provide any significant benefit through their disruptive phone calls. We do not recall ever buying an item or a service through telephone solicitations. Your proposed changes are nothing more than coddling people who prey on the general public in an extremely annoying way.
