I stongly protest against the proposal to permit "prerecorded message telemarketing" to be sent to people on the Do Not Call Registry. When I am working, a telemarketing call is quite disruptive. If I am away from my desk and must run from another room, the call is even more bothersome. A prerecorded message is just as disruptive and annoying as a call from a live person. Why should telemarketers be alowed to phone people on the Do Not Call Registry if they are previous customers? If I once bought an article from a company, why should that give the company the right to telephone me, annoy me, and pester me, trying to sell me other things that I do not want. Please do not open this new loophole.+
