As a Catholic priest my home phone is a necessary 'tool of the trade'. Allowing automated calls from solicitors could result in emergency calls from my parishioners not getting through and interference with other obligations to those I serve. During the presidential campaign I was subjected to an enormous volume of computer generated calls, live operater generated calls, etc. I do not want to be inundated with even more solicitations as a result of this proposed rule change.
