I am apposed to the rule changes described in RIN 3084-0098: Trade Regulation Rule on Telemarketing Sales. I think telemarketing is a particularly agregious invasion of privacy and of a persons right to peaceful enjoyment of their home. I also appose any regulation that would allow telemarketing involving calls to cellular telephones as this is not only an invasion of privacy but also puts the consumer in the position of subsidising the sellers advertising costs by having to pay for airtime minutes for unsolicited calls. Please do not allow the proposed changes to the current rule.
