Buying from a store does not mean that I wish to be notified of upcoming sales or specials. In fact, I would withdraw my buisiness from anyone who made such ridiculous calls to my home. Under this "pre-existing relationship" rouse the telescammers are using they claim it is perfectly acceptable to call me and that it is not harrassing. What if I give a homeless man on the street a dollar one day? I have established a pre-exisiting relationship have I not? Then i should expect that he will follow me home and bang on my door hours on end yes? And as for invading my rather expensive cell-phone with unwanted calls I remind everyone that cell phone companies are PRIVATE and the government should recognize the right to maintain confidentiality. It sure is strange how all my private information is up for sale in a country that claims to protect ones freedom and ensure private happiness. George Orwell, thank you for the warning.
