I do not want my answering machine loaded with telemarketing ads.I purposely put my name on a do not call list when advised to.The phone will still ring in order to place that ad on mine or anyone else's machine.WE are senior citizens ,and need our privacy as does everyone else. When taking a nap or reading,or preparing to sit down to a meal it is very disturbing to hear the phone ring for a reason that is unimportant to us.By this time in our lives we know where to shop and what products are useful to us.
