Do NOT approve the proposed amendment of the Telemarketing Sales Rule to create an additional call abandonment safe harbor. Telephone calls to a person's home, business, or cell phone should only be made by companies whose calls have been specifically and clearly solicited by the consumer and should only be made by a direct call from a representative who clearly identifies the company represented and the purpose of the call.
