I currently get prerecorded messages on my machine that I thought were already not allowed. On some days, I have gotten 3 or 4. If I leave for a week, when I get back I have 7 to 10 of them. Please do not allow this loophole. I have NEVER gotten a message from a local merchant (as the telemarketing association would have us believe). They have always been from mortgage companies, water treatment places, etc. Please keep all the protections we have in place. They are sorely needed.
