It has come to my attention that telemarketers have been attempting to find ways to weaken the national do-not-call law. I urge you to turn them back at every opportunity. I am thankful for the current law and have enjoyed its benefits. I no longer receive unsolicited calls except those which are allowed under the law. I find that level of contact bearable. I cannot support any changes that would cause any increase in the number of cold unsolicited sales calls. I will never do business with any outfit who attempts to contact me in this manner. Therefore, there is no benefit whatsoever for me, or for the business. I would like to think that they appreciate me telling them not to waste their resources by calling me! I feel that is what the do-not-call list really is for. Please do not weaken it. Thank you for this opportunity to comment.
