I PAY for the telephone service to serve as a convenience for ME. It is not in my interest to receive telemarketing calls either live or taped. I am not always physicaly able to answer and do not want to be disturbed by unwanted calls. I do not want my answering machine filled with garbage. This is an invasion of my right to privacy that I end up paying for. I was under the impression the "Do not Call List" was going to help decrease these marketing calls but, if you water it down with the current proposal I may as well find other means of communicating. I am not interested in paying a phone bill so that I can be harassed by unwanted marketing calls. Again, I PAY for the telephone service for MY convenience not anyone elses. I hesitated to give you my address for fear that this also would fall into the hands of marketers!
