Telemarketing should not be allowed to to leave recorded msgs on voice mail. That's every bit as intrusive and annoying as if they called me up in person. Even more so! And what happens if someone needs to leave me a msg but my voice mail is full because of telemarketing ads? Whether or not they leave an 800# for me to opt out of future calls is beside the point. Why should I be further inconvenienced by having to take overt steps to prevent additional calls?? I don't pay for my phone and phone service so that telemarketers can call me up and bug me! Which brings up another point... Who in the heck decided it was okay to release cell phone #s to telemarketers??? As your average citizen, I can't call up information and get the cell phone # for someone so why in blazes should telemarketers have that right? After all, we pay by the MINUTE for cell phone usage. Why are you guys allowing this?
