I think this proposal of allowing prerecorded messages is horrible!! I am sick enough of spam on my e-mail...to get it on my answering machine would be ten times worse. It is annoying to get unwanted calls weather they are prerecorded or live. It is still disruptive. The national do not call registry was a great idea, and it should not be tampered with. Please honor and respect our privacy and do not allow these telemarketers in our homes!!
