I, personally, do not want my family to be disrupted by Telemarketers on my telephone. I pay taxes to support my government; do the telemarketers contribute fairly to government support? I do not want the Telemarketing Sales Rule amended to create an additional call abandonment safe harbor to allow telemarketing calls that deliver a prerecorded message to consumers with whom the seller on whose behalf the calls are made has an established business relationship. Also, we do not want the Telemarketing Sales Rule call abandonment safe harbor provision amended.
