I do not think that leaving recorded messages on answering machines or on voice mail is a good thing. I am vehemently opposed to this practice. At the present time I am inundated with faxes from companies solicitating mortagages, stock purchases, etc. and cannot get them to stop. I have accumulated quite a file to send to the Federal Trade Commission to try to stop this foolishness. For the Federal Trade Commisission to allow the answering machine spam would invade our prvacy and be another nuisance that we really can do without.
