I urge the Commission not to adopt the proposed amendment of the Telemarketing Sales Rule. Recorded messages of this type would not be a welcome addition to my answering machine and might well displace important personal contacts as these machines typically can only handle a finite number of messages. I also urge the Commission not to grant the aforementioned petition. If I understand it correctly, it would appear to weaken the existing rule.
