Please do not permit telemarketing companies to succeed in amending the law to allow them to leave recorded spam messages on answering machines or voicemail. The American public has clearly voted - 70 million strong - with their response to the Do not Call legislation, and any attempt to water down the law is clearly in opposition to the wishes of the citizens.
