I see no reason to change the rules for the telemarkiting do not call list. It would defeat the purpose and intent of the do not call list which millions of citizens have wanted for years and took the time to register and have implemented. I feel that as long as I am paying for my private phone I should be able to govern it's use. Telemarketers are undermining the normal marketing systems, circumventing the cost of advertising at the expense of the general public and infringing on privacy and expected quiet enjoyment in our homes. The above is even more pronounced if telemarketers are allowed to call on cell phones which could cost the cell phone customer in the form of minutes used.
