This is a miserable idea. The American people (your employers) have made it resoundingly clear via the Do Not Call List that we do not wish to receive advertising messages from people we do not know for products in which we have no interest. In addition to being intrusive and downright rude, creating this loophole in the law would allow criminals and others with dubious motives to perpetuate their scams in open disregard to the law. I beseech you, do not weaken a law that protects consumers privacy and pocketbooks. Turn your back upon the whiners who are too lazy to find new ways to make a living. Support your constituents and neighbors and affirm that you are indeed working for the American people.
