Please do not change the Telemarket Sales Rules. Just because you choose to have a phone and frequent certain businesses does not mean you want them calling you. Let them mail something to you and ask if you want to be contacted by phone about upcoming specials. If you don't choose to do business with someone, you just don't enter their store. If you don't want to read someone's mailing, you throw it away. If you don't want to take someone's phone call, do you have to pay for caller ID and hope that the number is listed and then not answer the phone? I'm totally against companies sharing and selling personal contact information in the first place, so any limitations on contact in any form is welcomed.
