Comments:
Do not loosen restrictions on telemarketers, market research services, collection services or others. Unsolicited, harassing calls are still a problem, even with current provisions. Tighten restrictions by not allowing any live or pre-recorded calls to any telephone number listed on the Do-Not-Call list unless the caller has specific written permission from the owner of the telephone number to call that number. Do not allow a business transaction with the caller to automatically constitute the granting of permission to make calls to the number.
