How can you even consider such an abomination? You can't send spammy faxes anymore. Our phones are finally free of (most of) the time-wasting, unsolicited phone calls no one wants. Why let someone fill up my voicemail/answering machine? Someone with whom I have a business relationship with legitimate business to discuss is not going to leave me a pre-recorded message anyway; they will talk to me person to person. And what happens if I'm home when the recorded message comes in? I'll end up picking it up. This is just a craven end run around the law. Don't let the camel's nose in the tent.
