Do not let this petition be passed. The last thing I want is to have to listen to commericials on my answering machine or voicemail! This tool and access of communication should be left to our private lives and important messages from family and friends. If I have to sift through many commercial messages before I get to the important ones, that would be very difficult and confusing. Also, the space may run out because of the volume of commercial messages and then family and friends will not be able to leave messages at all! I am registered on the Do Not Call list - even my cell phone numbers. Why would you pass something like this to have the telemarketers invade the privacy of our homes again and to be even more invasive by leaving unwanted messages and soliciting?
