I THINK IT WOULD BE HORRENDOUS TO ALLOW "SPAM", ADS OR THE LIKE TO BE SENT UNSOLICITED TO ANY CITIZEN OF THE UNITED STAES OF AMERICA, whether through the phone lines or answering services. There is far too much commercialism in America as it is, we don't need anything more. I personally despise recieving spam online or any other way. I don't answer the phone when it's a marketer. Therefore, I believe the FTC should monitor the distribution of such trash! I hope that my remarks have some impact. Fern Miller
