I feel strongly that to allow pre-recorded telemarketing calls should not even be considered. I pay for my telephone service for my own use. I pay additional fees to have a number that is unpublished and unlisted. I do not pay for this service to be used as a conduit for unwanted interruptions to my life. It seems there has been a very clear mandate from the American public. No one wants telemarketing calls. More importantly, how do we come to a point where a third party is deciding whether contracted service between two private parties is available for the benefit and convenience of a fourth party? This is my life and telephone service we are talking about. Please tell the telemarketers to bug off. Thank you for your consideration, Karen deLaubenfels
