Please do not amend the Do Not Call regulations. A telephone, purchased by a private citizen should not become the free advertising vehicle for commercial interests who bear no cost in purchasing or maintaining that medium of transmission. If telemarketers wish to use telephones as a means of sales, they should offer to subsidize or purchase for the individual consumer that means of transmission. The cost should not be forced on the unprotected person who pays for the telephone for strictly personal reasons but who is forced to endure paying the cost(monetary or time) for others economic benefit.
