|Title:||Notice of Proposed Rulemaking, Request for Comment|
|CFR Citation:||16 CFR Part 310|
Comments:No. No. Please, please please do not open any loopholes for telemarketers. This has been a much improved year in my home without all of those harrassing telemarketing calls. Some evenings it would be just one right after the other. I hated it. Please do not open up any possibility of this occurring again. The recorded messages are so irritating. They have in the past totally clogged up my answering machine with their junk. As it is, I am constantly harrassed at work with telemarketers. That is what you should be addressing. They are stealing time from employers by their constant calls. And there is no way the employer is going to do any business with them. Let these companies use the U.S. mail to advertise. I actually read print ads and consider their content. Better for me and better for the advertising business if I actually pay attention. The Do Not Call list has been one of the best things to happen in a long, long time. Please do not mess it up. Thanks.
