I don't want ANY calls from telemarketers - EVEN CALLS FROM COMPANIES WITH WHICH I HAVE A PRE-EXISTING RELATIONSHIP. If you were to put this to the vote of the public before you make a decision on it, you would find that almost all other consumers feel exactly the same way as I do - we do NOT want to be bothered at home with phone calls from ANYONE but friends and family. Our home is becoming less and less a sanctuary from advertising. The rampant uptick of spam in our mailboxes, e-mail boxes, and pop-ups on web sites is simply overkill. The one place we can cut the cord is telemarketing. Please give us the choice of eliminating ALL telemarketing from our homes. If you want to make two levels of opting out (ALL calls versus ones from companies with pre-existing relationships), then please do that instead of turning on the floodgates again. We need LESS annoying advertising venues, not more.
