Those of us who chose a while back to place ourselves on a do not call list should have the right to remain unattainable by telemarketers. To allow a loophole to come into play so we can again be bothered by unwanted soliciting at home is unfair. Why are we taking a step backward?? Have the companies that a family is affiliated with notify them in writing, possibly on their bill, that they have the opportunity to hear from that particular company. Let the consumer mark a box on a form or bill stating it's OK to contact them. The communication with any telemarketing firm should be initiated by the consumer, NOT by those wanting to sell something!!!!
