I took the time to make sure these jokers don't call me on my land-line which is pretty much unlimited use for a flat monthly fee. Now these same S.O.B.'s want to call me on my cell' 'phone for which I do pay for every call? Hell no! If these S.O.B.'s start using up my allotted minutes - and they will - are they going to pay for overage charges? Hell no! If I wanted them to call me I would have personally told them to give me a call. I don't care if they send me their advertising in the mail; that's fine with me - afterall, they are paying for it. But, once again, here they are wanting something for nothing. They call you at home, spam you at your computer, and now they are at it again running up your cell' 'phone bill because they want to be heard at your expense. If they want to have their message heard so badly they can run an ad in the 'paper; they can advertise on the radio or buy television air time; they can get a billboard, put their message on a bus, skywrite, etc. I don't care - it's their money and their time. But don't make me pay for their advertising! I bought my cell' 'phone because of safety issues and because it would save time and money versus having to pull over and try to find a pay 'phone - I did NOT buy a cell' 'phone so that some organization can use up all my minutes so that THEY can save some money. This infuriates me to no end. I work hard to provide for my family - not to pay the advertising of some companies. Please read this very closely ... I WILL ABSOLUTELY KEEP A LIST OF EVERY SINGLE OFFENDER WHO SPAMS MY CELL' 'PHONE AND SEE TO IT THAT I , NOT ONLY, BOYCOTT THEM, BUT, WILL INSTEAD, BUY FROM THEIR COMPETITORS WHILE MAKING IT MORE COSTLY FOR THEM. I WILL MAKE SURE THAT IT COSTS THEM ALOT MORE THAN IT COST ME. It's a sad thing to hear that rather than try to build up a great image some organizations are more than willing to infuriate the potential customer. Afterall, it costs about 20x more to get a new customer than to retain one. In conclusion, I am extremely opposed to the proposal to allow telemarketers to call my cell' 'phone for any reason. But, if they absolutely insist on making me pay for their advertising then I will simply see to it that it costs them more than it costs me.
