Comments:
I am opposed to the proposed amendment of the Telemarketing Sales Rule to create an additional call abandonment safe harbor to allow telemarketing calls that deliver a prerecorded message to consumers with whom the seller on whose behalf the calls are made has an established business relationship. I am a seventy-year-old man with severe coronary artery disease. It is critical to my health to keep my stress level at an absolute minimum. Therefore, I wish NOT to receive telemarketing calls that deliver a prerecorded message to me no matter whether the seller on whose behalf the calls are made has an established business relationship with me or not. Thanks in advance for your attention to this comment..
