I am asking you not to allow pre-recorded messages by telemarketers/solicitors. Answering the phone only to be hit with a recorded pitch is annoying, especially because there is often no way to request removal from the callers' lists. My work involves travel, and picking up my messages often involves long distance charges. It wastes my available work time and costs me money to listen to these solicitations. When a person pays for phone service, it should benefit him, not telemarketers. No free advertising. Leave me alone , or pay me for listening.
