I signed up to not receive telemarketing calls because they were intrusive and repugnant to me. Automating them does not make them less intrusive or less repugnant. I believe there should be less safe harbours, not more. Similarly, I believe that the criteria - measured per day per calling campaign - is more restrictive and therefore to be preferred. Marketers still retain the right to mail me any messages, and I still retain the right to read them when I choose (or to throw them out unread).
