|Subject:||Trade Regulation Rule on Telemarketing Sales|
|Title:||Notice of Proposed Rulemaking, Request for Comment|
|CFR Citation:||16 CFR Part 310|
Comments:I do not believe that telemarketers should be allowed to use pre-recorded messages even when there is an existing relationships unless it is done through an opt-in method rather than through an opt-out process. Surely the overwhelming response to the Do Not Call registry sent a clear message to the FTC - the vast majority of people do not want to be bothered by telemarketers, regardless of their methods or technology. Please listen to the people, not the telemarketing industry. Thank you.
