Comments:
1. No way should a rule change allow for more telemarketer calls! 2. The FTC proposal is going backwards! If anything, instead of having the FTC rule coordinate with the FCC, it should be the other way around. The FCC rule should coordinate with the FTC. 3. My message to the FTC is you are there to PROTECT the publlic - not to support a business-for-profit at the expense of the public. 4. My message to the Direct Marketing Association is "Don't call us - We'll call you!" Oh, and by the way, don't hold your breath. The "Do Not Call List" should mean exacty that: DO NOT CALL! If the Direct Marketing Association or the FTC would like me to explain what I mean by that then you may contact me by mail. 5. Message to the FTC: Please forward my public comment to the FCC so that they may ammend their rule to coordinate with the FTC. Quality of life is all about not receiving Direct Marketing calls!
