We do not need nor want weaker laws. We need to protect the consumer from the predator telemarketers. There should be fewer calls allowed and not more. Just because I buy something from a company doesn't mean I want that company to keep hounding me to buy more. There should be fewer calls allowed by machines and a decrease in the number of abandoned calls. It is very irritating to leave the children to answer the phone only to have noone there or a telemarketer who thinks it is their right to bother me in my home. Help protect us by strengthening the present laws not weakeniong them.
