Please do not allow direct marketing telephone calls, especially those which do not have a live representative. They are worse than those which DO have a live representative, as a live rep has to take your name off of their marketing lists if you ask them to. Secondly, since telemarketing calls are soon to be allowed on cell phones, direct marketing phone calls will cost me money. Lastly, no matter where you go, you are bombarded with marketing in today's American society. The last thing that I want or need is more marketing. On a side note, the do not call list should be opt out, and not opt in. In other words, all numbers should be opt out, with the phone service asking if you want to opt IN for informational phone calls and telemarketing calls. Thank you for your attention to this matter! --MP
