I have no desire to have my privacy further invaded, through recorded messages or otherwise, by entities with whom I have no intention of pursuing further business activities. If I wish to address a particular need with an organization, I can easily do so at my own initiative without risk of further eroding my already-limited right to privacy in my own home and my own communications systems. This is simply an attempt by the direct marketing lobby to erode the limited restrictions now required, which arose as a result of the horrific onslaught of telemarketing abuses perpetrated by the very organization which now seeks to overturn an effective tool for the preservation of consumer privacy. I oppose such changes.
