I don’t want the FTC to permit these phone calls. Pre-recorded messages are still an invasion of my right to privacy. Please don't permit telemarketers to spam my answering machine when I'm not home. I need the machine in case I have a family emergency. When I signed up for the do not call list it was so I wouldn't be bothered by telemarketing calls. I want that to continue to include leaving messages on my machine or voice mail.
