I think it is wrong for the FTC to change the rules regarding unwanted phone calls that would make it easier for companies to call individuals. There is a reason I submitted my phone number to the national "Do Not Call" list and that was not to get harassing phone calls from telemarketers and/or record phone messages. It would also be nice if they would regulate unwanted phone calls from politicians whom a person is not affiliated with. (Example: If I am a Democrat the republicans should not be allowed to contact me during an election.) I only make this commit because I received three phone calls in one hour the day before the presidential election from republican politicians.
