I was reading our paper lately and noticed an article concerning your proposed rule change of telemarketers. I felt that I must give my humble input. I, like most of the US population (let's say 90-95%), do not enjoy, like, or want to be bothered by these annoying phone solicitors. When there became available the "do not call list" I was thrilled to register. I have gained back the use of my phone for my use and for people that I know. When I signed up I let business' know that I do not want unsolicited phone calls and quess what? That's what I still want. I do not want an easing of the rules, period! It is very simple people, don't try to "improve" what we all want; not to be bothered. Why not ask your friends, neighbors, & relatives if they agree with me. I doubt anyone will be suprised. Anyway that's my input.
