It is a shame that businesses are allowed to call existing customers for solicitation purposes, but to allow them to call with prerecorded solicitations would be worse. (Informing customers of new or expanded services is solicitation, because their ultimate goal is the purchase of said services.) Please do NOT allow businesses to call consumers with prerecorded messages of ANY kind. These calls are an irritating intrusion and tie up personal phone lines for business purposes. Thank you.
