I strongly object to pre-recorded telemarketing. Consider the fact that the recording ties up your telephone, even if you hang up, and messes up your message machine. It blocks your ability to get rid of it, and in an emergency while it's tieing up your telephone, even though you hung up, you can't dial 911. While this is a worst case scenario, the first time someone can't get through in an emergency, whose face will be red? The idiots who can't find more important things to do with the tax payers money that voting on this nonsense! With all the serious problems in the country and the world, this is a stupid issue to spend money on.
