I am on the do not call list and already have been dealing with automated calls from companies. Most of them from telephone companies. It has taken me months to get most of them to stop. The thoght of recieving more of these calls is not a happy thought. At this point I have resorted to turning off the ringer on my phone and keeping on my answering machine all the time. These calls are a horrible pain. Loosening the law at this point will only make this situation worse. and if it was not necessary to have a phone I would turn off my service just to avoid dealing with it.
