When the presidential election happened, almost every night I would answer the phone to a pre-recorded message at least 3 times. I would come home to an answering machine with 2 or 3 pre recorded messages on it. I imagine that if you make this change to allow pre recorded messages from telemarketers, my days will become much like this again. Only this time, it won't end! We got on the do not call list when it first came out. Our phone has been blissfully silent ever since. I have never bought or signed up for anything through a telemarketer. All they do is annoy me and my family. If you allow these calls to take place, the deluge will begin again. Please do not adjust your rules in this fashion! Do not allow these pre recorded calls to become an exception to the rules! If we have opted out of having live people call us, why would we want recorded people? That makes no sense. If we have opted out of receiving telemarketing calls, it should not matter if they are live or pre recorded...telemarketing is telemarketing -whether it is a person or a machine that is interrupting you dinner and annoying your family. Please don't allow this! Thank You
