|Subject:||Trade Regulation Rule on Telemarketing Sales|
|Title:||Notice of Proposed Rulemaking, Request for Comment|
|CFR Citation:||16 CFR Part 310|
Comments:People should have the right to not be disturbed at home if they choose. Telemarketing is an invasion of privacy that should be allowed with permission only and forbidden without authorization. The WORST calls are those from machines. They are insulting, irritating and unresponsive - a person answering a call from a machine can't even get the company name, contact information or ask to be put on a Do Not Call list. It is infuriating and I vote that it needs to be stopped.
