I am listed on the federal no-call list because I do not want unsolicited sales pitches interrupting my personal life. I consider prerecorded calls even more insidious because of the extra steps required to eliminate future calls. If anything, I feel the laws should be even more restrictive and extended to include similar laws regarding mail and e-mail solicitations as well restricting the collection, dissemination and use of personal information for marketing purposes.
